There are no classes or levels and no restrictions on what you can become. Skills are learned through doing or becoming an apprentice to another experienced player. Establish your home, become a farmer or a soldier, build items for yourself and others, start a family or rally against your cultural leaders for change. In a world where death is both an ending and a new beginning, players can name their heir (or next character) to inherit the profits and toils from their former life.

Players can choose to play a farmer who take care of his crops, a healer that prepare some healing potions, a soldier, a thieve who can disguise himself perpetrate his crimes, bounty hunters or anything else they so desire. Hire NPCs to protect your home, shop, land or items, keep pets, grow crops or help to build societies laws. A comprehensive judicial system helps to maintain and govern the laws of each society. Each player may take part in the decision making process; get involved in the life of the country by becoming the mayor of your town or other important positions. Player choices shape the world.

Realistic gameplay includes limited carrying capacity, communication and the need for characters to rest and eat. Take part in the continual conflicts between the cultures. Make use of realistic strategic tactics and calculated risks in battle. Combat is accentuated with final death, battles on land or at sea and a lack of a definite level system.
